Since Wix installed the filter, I would follow what they did with it since it is likely to be accurate. I do not know why the OEM unit has the opposite of what Wix did. It is best to use a special tubing wrench to tighten the nuts because an open end wrench or Crescent tends to round them over. After borrowing the appropriate wrench from my local garage mechanic, I was able to get the job done. Here are some reasons why you should let your mechanic home - A lot of cookies were made for
It should be under the car about where the driver sits beneath the tank. I don't know anything about Hyundais, but I would suggest looking under the car and finding the fuel line going into the engine. It's my understanding that some vehicles have the fuel filter inside the tank, so be sure to check.
If you are looking for the service manual for your vehicle, Google it. So that you don't damage the fuel lines, you should use flare nut wrenches. The job was not bad at all

There is a leak in the filter. There is a leak on the engine side of the filter connection. It's still leaking even though I have tightened it to the point where I believe it could strip the threads. It appears that there is over spray on the threads at both ends of the filter, and it appears that there is over spray on the fuel line cone that goes into the flared line. This would account for my inability to get a tight seal on this filter. It might be hit or miss when this filter leaks because it depends on whether there was much over spray on the threads and at the point of attachment During the painting process, WIX might be able to mask off these areas but that may not cost them a thing. The exchange rate is 10 to 1. There will be a production cost of $20 per filter. Therefore, they decided to make a poor quality filter because they would make a few more cents per filter that way.
Fuel is filtered, and there are no leaks. Be sure to pay attention to the flow direction at the top of In this sense, it works in the opposite direction of the original This filter does not require any gaskets, and there is no need for them either. Ensure that both sides of the filter are well tightened and that it is.
However, my particular filter arrived in a crusty box with water damage and mildew stains from when it was made by Wix. I think the distributor has caused poor quality control to happen on the filter itself. The manufacturer's filter is not dirty. The distributor is to blame. There's just no way I'm going to install a fuel filter that's taken a chance.
I would recommend this product to anyone who asks. The product was easy to install, but I had difficulty installing it due to its location on my Toyota 4runner.
It appears to be holding up As of now, everything appears to be going smoothly. It appears to be holding up I found it hard to give an accurate review because the old fuel pump that I replaced was not bad at all. However, since it was the original part that came with the vehicle I thought it would be to my advantage to have it replaced before I started having issues.
It was necessary to replace most of the fuel system in my 91 pickup truck.
I used it in a 2002 Toyota 4Runner 3. It was a perfect fit. V6 engine with a 4L displacement. It is easy to install, just follow the instructions online. I vented the tank and didn't pull the EFI fuse to clear the fuel line I didn't have problems with fuel pressure or spray. The brand Wix is known for its quality filters.
