The best application on the market is Wix

This is an excellent product for small engines. As a Wix filter, it is hard to find many things to not like. A metal body, durable, with excellent filtration with a 12 micron filter. There are many excellent options out there, but I think this is the best. In the event that water gets in the system, the only problem is that it can't be seen through like a plastic one would be. The ability to use metal for this fuel system is a plus for me, since I always use clean fuel systems. It has never been a problem for me to have water in my fuel system.

This is excellent. This is a WIX fuel filter with a metal canister. I expected it to be solid and well made. The package includes extra gear in case it is I was very impressed by the speed of delivery by this vendor.

This is the prefilter on the QD 7500 generator

A filter like this is used by Tiffin as a prefilter for the Onan QD7500 engine. Diesel fuel has a high water content, so Wix does not recommend using this filter for diesel applications. The filter medium absorbs water, and water can contaminate diesel fuel. Although I prefer this filter to trap the water than for it to reach the injectors of the generator.

The 1968 Beetle can be fitted with this part

This is one of the few metal filters that can be used on an old air-cooled Beetle. It's hard to handle those plastics see-through jobs. They keep catching fire too often. I like this one because it has a sturdy construction.
