Questions & Answers
I've seen it done with gravity flow discharge on overhead tanks. It was hard pipe plumbed to the suction side of the pump when I saw it this way the first time I saw it. I hope this has been of assistance.
With water-based products, it should work fine. It has a great ability to move diesel.
A metal telescoping suction tube that adjusts from 22" to 33 34" is included with this pump.
I doubt it, because the fins on the inside of the pump are made of a thin fiber material designed specifically for pumping liquid.

I share some of the blame in this situation. I ordered a 115-volt pump and installed it in my fuel tank as soon as it arrived. I was in a rush to get it. I plugged in the electrical cord so that I could use it with my generator as planned. The tank was completely filled. The next day, I went to use it only to realize I should have double-checked because they had sent me a 12-month subscription. Instead of using a 110v pump, use a volt pump. The 12volt needs to be powered by your vehicle's battery. I had to yank out my plug and jerry-rig a new one. The equipment was rigged to fill it. The Box has already been discarded. Now, if I want to return it, I'll have to disassemble the pump, which smells like diesel fuel, as well as the fuel line, place it in a regular box, and mail it back to Amazon. I'm disappointed because I believe it will be too difficult to locate the correct pump at this time. I'm not even sure how much the two pumps differ in price. Hopefully, no one else will have to learn this lesson. It appears that I'll have to put up with it.
This pump was purchased to replace a hand pump with a lever. That pump was causing the tank fitting to break because it was flexing my plastic fuel tank. It took a long time to use because I had to take it easy and hold the top of the pump housing to keep it from flexing. With a steel tank, I suppose this wouldn't have been an issue. But, as the tractor approached full capacity, I had to pull over and check the fuel level. br> I had no trouble installing this electric pump. I had to make a brace for the pump's heavy, unsupported end in order to fasten it to my tank, so it took a little longer to install. The hose is dangling from there. I also needed to make a nozzle hanger (the nozzle and hose were purchased separately). The underground feeder wire connecting the shop and the tank was buried. Because this is not a mobile tank, I prefer the 120V model over the 12V model. br> Now I can fill my diesel tanks quickly and easily. Fuel theft should not be an issue because the 120V wire is switched inside my shop.
For our vehicles and equipment, this FR610GA pump is connected to a stationary 250-gallon E10 bulk tank. To avoid overfilling car and equipment tanks, the automatic shutoff nozzle was a crucial feature. This pump received better reviews than some alternatives, and it replaced a RotaBoy hand-cranked pump from the 1950s. We chose the 120 Vac model over the 12 Vdc model because we didn't want to deal with another battery, and we could prevent unauthorized use by installing a mechanical timer switch (Tork C530M) on the supply wire inside a locked garage. After removing the old pump with a large pipe wrench, installation was simple. It does what it's supposed to do and is a huge improvement over the old hand-cranked pump.
I really like how easy it is to use this pump. I'm impressed by how quickly it can pump an oil drum. br>It's similar to a gas station in that it has a nozzle. br>As a woman, I find it fascinating.
The pump functions admirably. It turned out to be much better than I had anticipated.
Works great, does exactly what it says on the tin, and saved us money on gas because we didn't have to drive around looking for one!.
It works well and is simple to set up.
When I called the company, they were extremely helpful and informed me that a new one would be sent to me. This is an excellent American corporation. Even though it would be preferable if the product did not fail so soon, it is comforting to know that they stand behind it; I have used some of their other products and have found them to be trustworthy.
