Hello,br>Yes, you can use this to repair a fuel vent hosebr>br>Thanksbr>Chris
I'm not sure there is one; it's made of aluminum (metal), so it'll likely withstand whatever temperature your water pump, radiator, engine block, and other components are subjected to.

Let's be honest, when I accelerated, it sounded like a water fall! My heater core was about to die, and I was thinking I'd have to replace it. However, I'm wondering if my flushing tee in the heater inlet hose is letting air in for some reason. So I took out the flushing tee and replaced it with this little baby, topped off the coolant, and voila! No more gurgling waterfall! And if I need to flush, all I have to do is unhook one end of this contraption and flush! So it saved me $100 and a weekend of disassembling my Jeep to install a heater core that I didn't need! I am overjoyed!.
Instead of buying an expensive and difficult-to-install replacement hose, I bought a plastic fitting adapter a few years ago to splice two hoses together. The plastic adapter lasted about two years before splitting in half and leaving me stranded in the middle of the night a few weeks ago. When I had to have my car towed home, I was $150 worse off. br>br>I decided to use an adapter once more, this time trying this one because it was made of metal. I shouldn't have to worry about it breaking like the plastic one did, because it's made of metal. It's been a few weeks now, and everything appears to be in order. There were no leaks, and the fit was very snug.
On a Kioti tractor, something got caught in the antifreeze return hose. Because of a supply chain snafu, a new hose was delayed for several weeks. I was able to splice the old hose back together using this method. I was able to save $25 towards a new hose.
Very powerful. It's well-made. I didn't expect it to be as light as it was. For my heater core, I used it to join radiator hoses together. I couldn't be more pleased. 10/10.
Barb made of lightweight aluminum. Excellent craftsmanship.
This is a fantastic fir that will serve its purpose for many years. I'm glad I didn't save money on plastic and instead spent more for peace of mind.
Plastic splicers cost four times as much as these. However, installation is simpler, and the product's life expectancy is significantly increased.
