The unit was installed back in November on my 2004 Miata, and it fixed my CEL and allowed me to pass My luck didn't last long, at the middle of March almost 4 months later, I'm getting a CEL for this same complaint again. There is no way of telling if the unit was faulty.
This corrected the code p2402 for the evap pump circuit high in a 2010 Mazda 5. This code usually indicates that the pump on your vehicle has failed if you have more than 150k miles. A simple installation, located underneath, between the frames of the rear wheels, attached to a plate to protect the unit from road damage.
It is not possible to use Dorman's products with 2008 Miatas. It appears that CEL code is still appearing.
It is a great replacement for a stock part.
