am having an issue with my engine light in my 2004 Nissan Sentra that has code p0447 ("evaporative emission control system vent control circuit open"). Is this part going to fix my problem?

Under the car, look nearly at the gas tank and see what it looks like first. It could be on the filler tube side or the other side. They stuff it up inside the tank.

There wasn't enough crimping on the metal, so the plastic part wasn't fully snapped onto the metal. Although my mechanic was able to fix it, he told me the second engine is still on its way.
