I found this tool to be a bit clumsy, but it did the job. The two bits are combined into It is designed to fit the Quadrajet idle mixture screws that have recessed holes. Another end has an open hex socket that fits into the other mix screw type. Each socket includes a small rubber handle that fits over a square base at the back. As you turn the handle, the tool turns. The end you are not going to use is pushed inside the rubber handle, and the square base fits in so when you turn the handle, It has a square base that barely fits into the handle, and it falls out when touched. As soon as you focus on how many turns you make, you realize that you are not turning the tool at all because the handle has fallen off. A small amount of material falls out so that it no longer turns. In other words, if you don't see the tool or keep turning the handle, the very end of the tool will still be in but without any grip on it, so you are only turning It was finally simpler for me to turn the square base, or knob, attached to the socket with my fingers instead of a handle. of the carburetor is a flex cable, which I found to be handy for tight places or reverse adjustment, since this was a motorhome, so I had to adjust the carburetor from the rear. The handle wasn't that great, but it did the job. It would have been easy to fix the problem if I had used some electrician tape. The socket has an opening of about a 1/4" dia. It's a small tool. There are two square bases, about 3/8" wide, and two round bases, about 2" wide. It comes with a 5 inch foam handle with an overall diameter of about 1/2". This Saturday, May 7th, is International Women's Day. The length of the tee shirts is 8". There is about one eighth inch of diameter on the flex shaft. Stores easily or is easy to To access the recessed mixture screws, this is one of those tools you must have. The cost is relatively high for what you get. People have flattened a bit of steel brake line (thin walled steel tubing) and slipped it across the mixture screw by flattening the cylindrical end just right. The tubing was just small enough to slip over the screw. The recess was just the right size for the item. It may be too late for me, but it may not be.
As depicted in the picture, this tool was not what it appeared to be. When I ordered, I did not bother to pay for the picture because I thought I would receive the same tool. Compared to the picture of the actual tool, I am very disappointed with the quality and the misrepresentation of what the tool is like. The company I purchased from was a scam and I would never do business with it again.
Turning the instrument is not possible. To thin the cable.
The carburetor air fuel screw cannot be adjusted by this tool. It's sort of a.
