Getting it right is all in the details. I am really enjoying the intricate details of Sure, they are just carb studs, but I'm attracted to stupid things. It's the hexagon pilot point that I enjoy most, because it allows the screws to be installed with a socket rather than two screw holes You nutted it. Simply put, it's more effective. A hex will prevent overtightening of the stud in the intake if the gorilla type is fitted. It is both stronger and more smoothly torqued to hold onto the threads when the unthreaded area works as a positive stop when the threads are fully engaged the fine-thread nut is the stronger one as well. The thread studs are made with high-quality nuts and washers. The gold irridite finish against the black-finished nuts complements the black threads well. A stud with an oxide finish is just plain stylish. For athletes who aren't this good, bigger names charge almost twice as much as they do for smaller names. Despite its name, the company is not what it seems.
From a Camaro specialty site, I purchased bolts specifically manufactured for a 1968 Camaro and they were too short for the carb plate (too much stud thread, not enough carb plate thread). We all want to sell our Holly for a good price. A pair of these will be a good fit Using a jet. My one problem was that even though I thought I was armed with every socket known to man, I had no 7/32 on hand. I installed it by doing the "two nut method" instead.
A first-class product from Spectres that consistently surprises me with its quality for the price, this not an exception. I love the threads, hard metal, and can't complain about the threads or the metal, I never can.
The intake was mounted on a stock intake, and the carburetor was an Edelbrock. There were no problems during installation.
The studs are of excellent quality. I recommend it.
The hex head design allows for easy installation, but it doesn't leave enough threads when used with.
The clothes look amazing and fit perfectly.
It's super easy to mount a carburetor this way.
