Questions & Answers

Would you recommend these on the Ryobi S430 four stroke carburetor? Neither a h nor a l is etched onto it. Rather than having two, it has one A man is on top of the carb and two people are at the bottom. ?

Ryobi uses this style on all their carbs. I have a Ryobi string trimmer and after doing research, it seems they all use this style. That is what I used on mine and it fit perfectly.

Do you know if it will work on Polan?

Since I am not familiar with Poulan equipment, I am not able to answer the question. I am not sure what would prevent it from being adjusted if it has Pacman head on it. I have tested it on my Ryobi and it works perfectly.

Can this be used to adjust the carburetors on Poulan Pro PPB3416?

"Spline" type carb screws are used in my Poulan Pro PP125 trimmer (the screws are covered in many little ribs).

Everything seemed to work fine
5/5

As well as the difficulty of starting up a Ryobi trimmer that I believe was manufactured in 2009, its performance has decreased over the last year or so. Because everyone has adapted California emission controls for small engines, the mixture screws for carburestors have been made without screwdriver slots. The fix was to adjust carburetor mixture settings, but the screws aren't accessible because of California emission controls for small engines. I thought to myself, "Really smart!". When I was unable to accelerate my string trimmer from idle without it stalling out, I got frustrated and began doing some Google searches and discovered there were lots of references to special tools that could be used My Amazon Prime membership provided me with free shipping because I found this tool here and also on Ebay. I received this tool on May 17th and after messing around with the low and high mixture settings on my string trimmer for about 10 to 15 minutes it's running like new once again. The following may help The engine starts on the third or fourth pull after priming when it is cold, and then starts on the first pull once it is heated up to normal operating temperature. Considering that I could have bought a new trimmer for 150 to 200 dollars for 25 dollars, acquiring this tool was a far better option. It would be a great idea for anyone to acquire one of these tools so that they can continue using what may be a non-functional Please ensure you buy the correct adjustment tool when buying Although this tool can be used by some people, it is not suitable for others. Others only have one flat, while others have two flats, so this tool cannot be used with them. A similar alternative can be found on Amazon. It is important to identify what tool will work with your model before you purchase it.

Small engines require this tool, you must have it! When you have a small power tool with the power tool 'Pac-it' button on it, you should have this tool An adjustment screw that comes with a man's suit
5/5

Homelite string trimmer refused to run, ran rough, and I was faced with (a) paying repair shop a big bill (probably a good chunk of what it costs to replace it) or (b) disregarding a quality trimmer, which I did not want. In response, I called my local parts store and asked if there was one available. Then he said that yes, they had one, but they couldn't sell it to me because EPA had already sent them several warning letters! I got on the computer and started- I simply purchased this top of the line product from Amazon and had it running like a charm within 5 minutes of ordering! In the future, I will keep it in my pocket when trimming, make a small adjustment occasionally, and everything will work out.

We ordered this for my husband, and the first order was the wrong size. I'm not sure how you can try to gauge the right size in order to make the right choice, but he did more than goof process of returning the item was easy, we were able to place an order for the correct size, and voila! Worked like a charm! No matter what my husband needed this tool to do, it did Therefore, we are delighted to be here!.

If the PAC was not present It is unlikely that I would have ever been able to start my rotation without MAN Tool Since this is the first time I have purchased tools from this company, I was treated professionally and with The first thing that I did after I received the tool was to drain the gas and replace the original fuel filter, even though I had never used it
5/5

In the first place I first pulled the cord approximately ten times and then checked the spark plug to see if it was running rich or lean, both of which would prevent a small motor from starting or It became clear to me early on that the plug had to be pulled. Having discovered that there was no fuel getting into the engine, I ordered the PAC-S to be used To determine whether the fuel mixture screws were turned too far in or too far out, the MAN tool was used. I like to start turning the high end screw out at one half turn and the low end screw at one half turn. I was surprised to see that both the low adjusting screw and the high adjusting screw had been turned all the way to On the first use, the machine started up from the get-go after I turned both of them 1 1/2 turns each. Once that was done, I made changes to get it to run as smoothly It has already been used to till two of my gardens without a problem. It is a pleasure to sell such an important item as well as you did.

That was exactly what I was looking for
5/5

By the end of summer, I had to choke the inexpensive weed trimmer I bought at the beginning of the season to make it get through any cuts I needed to make. The doodads are very complex so I bought this because I don't even know what it would cost to set them up properly so it runs correctly. It was a good decision for me as well. Using the wrench on the low side of the wrench, I was back in business in no time.

If you go Chinese, this is what you get
5/5

It's great having this tool at hand! That's too bad since you have to have it to get simple carburetion. From Chinese junk can you expect to get what you paid for? In place of a standard straight blade screwdriver, it is used to adjust the fuel metering screw or screws on Homelite and other 2 cycle lawn care engines made in China. It is the area just above the shank on the handle that I like most about this tool. You can see the picture if you look at it. If you look closely, you can see things sticking out on three With this setting, it is no longer necessary to screw on the screws until they touch and then back them out by one and a half turns. By keeping track of where the screw driver is pointed when you begin and where you are as you turn it, you can easily complete your tasks more quickly. If you like to mess around with 2 strokes, it's worth having around.

I love it!
5/5

This was a gift for my brother who needed to adjust the carburetor on his mower. It took him less than two minutes to make the adjustment I've had the machine for less than five minutes, and it's working great. The tool is useful to have around the house.

well, but it is too bad that this tool is required by the EPA due to a misguided requirement
5/5

Making carburetor adjustments on my garden power tools is easy with this tool. There is no reason to replace the screws used to adjust carburetors with a tool that is used to replace these ones. EPA seems to believe that lawn tools contribute so much to higher CO2 levels that they deemed it necessary to replace the easier to use screws that make this tool so necessary with the new pac man adjustment head. As it is necessary to adjust the carburetor in more northern locations to get them to operate efficiently, it is ridiculous to claim this.
