It is very flimsy. I'm not impressed with this tool. It is very flimsy. This is unlike the original because a piece of metal slides into the slot, and it's held together with a roll pin. As soon as the tool was turned, it flexed and was unable to break the jet's torque. Despite the jets being very slightly torqued, this should not have stressed the tool in such a way. I was able to locate the correct prototype tool to complete the project. You might as well have tossed this in the trash if it hadn't been so easy to return.
I do not recommend it because it is so poor.
To remove the parts I needed, this was exactly what I needed.
In order to use this tool, I bought it. The fine tuning process is underway with a car I am playing with. In the present moment, I am tuning a custom built carburetor I had made for my engine. After trying a different brand carb that didn't work well for my application and changing the jets frequently, I have decided to go with the custom carburetor I built. It's becoming more and more tedious to scrape the flat blade screwdriver across the jets. did not want to cause the same problems with my new carb as I did with my old carb, so I bought the tool when I purchased the jet assortment. There's no better tool for the job than this one. You won't have any messed up jets anymore.
