THIS CAP WAS ON A 1406 WHEN I INSTALLED IT. WHEN SETUP PROPERLY, IT WORKS FINE.

There are no wiring instructions included with this. This is a direct replacement for an electric choke that already exists.

The choke on my 86 Chevy, which is a 1406 or some variant, has never worked. It was made to work perfectly with this coil.

On a Carter AFB carburetor, it works perfectly

On the Carter AFB I rebuilt, I replaced the choke cap, which fit and functioned perfectly.
