The black cap was included in my kit.
Sorry. I don't know what carbs will work with the conversion kit because I don't have any way of knowing. I recommend going to Holley's website for more information.
Go to Holly's website to find the right kit, then order it from Amazon for the best price.

I bought it after reading a review that said it would fit their 2300 2 barrel perfectly. Because the 2300 2 barrel does not come with an electric choke. Despite the fact that one is an option. The housing is struck by the linkage screw. I'm at a loss as to how to make it work. It's just not right for this carb. Holley has given us yet another slap in the face. With their carbs, there is no end in sight. FYI: I added spacers and made it work with a quick fuel elect choke. With the one Holley sent me, it wasn't even possible. If you have a 2300 2 barrel, use the quick fuel option and make some spacers out of tiny metal tubes.
My Holley 3310 now has a new manual choke. I like how straightforward it is. However, because I dislike the fact that it opens as soon as it receives power from the ignition, I intend to wire it through an oil pressure switch so that it only receives power when the engine is running. br>br>There are a couple of helpful images in the instructions, but they could use a few more. And one of them was a little off the mark. Because the fast idle arm supplied did not match the part image in the instructions, determining its orientation required some extra thought. There was also mention of a small diaphram that needed to be removed and replaced with a small gasket, but I had to do some digging to figure out what the instructions meant. br>br>I think the instructions could be improved. I'd also add a note recommending that you use Holley's fuel pump oil pressure switch to only provide power when the engine is running.
For the right Holley 4165 Carburetor, this is a good product. It fit the newer holley 4165 OK on some years, but not all of the ones I have, so be careful what you buy and don't trust the fine print. The lit will not fit on holley 4165 models that do not have the standoff supports installed correctly.
Everything you need is included in the package, making installation simple.
Okay, in my opinion, the electric choke is far superior to the manual. br>The idle up screw will be difficult to access. The cork gasket is at best a farce, and putting it together will necessitate the assistance of a surgeon. br>Apart from the initial set-up, there are no other requirements. It's an upgrade that's well worth it.
On a 3310 holley carb, which is a center hung float carb with a vacuum secondary, single metering block, and a vacuum port under the choke, it worked perfectly. Installing it was a breeze.
It's fantastic.
