Yes. In a 1969 Corvette with a 350 and a 7045213 Qjet, I put it in.

Is it compatible with the 7028212 4MV Quadrajet?

Yes. Mine is a 4MV, and it fits perfectly in the intake manifold's grove.

It fits, but it was made on a shoestring budget

This is what I installed on my 1969 Corvette 350 / 300HP. It was a good fit, but it was cheaply made. The rod was also missing the pin that held it to the carb.

The spring is faulty because it was put together incorrectly. It requires a 180-degree rotation.

It's as simple as flipping the existing rod from outside to inside and it'll fit perfectly

The pin was pointing in the wrong direction at an angle of 180 degrees - 454 Crusader, for my big block. It's as simple as flipping the existing rod from outside to inside and it'll fit perfectly. I found it to be very useful. The housing is a little difficult to align, but using level pressure on both sides after aligning it worked.
