As fuel inlet gaskets become more difficult to find in brick and mortar stores, they are becoming harder to obtain. As far as the filter tension spring is concerned, you can reuse it, but a fresh gasket should be used every time you replace your fuel filter or you are going to have fuel leaks! The only thing I recommend is to lay in a couple of those gasket packages in an empty Altoids tin, and keep them in the bottom of the.
