Even though the wire is only 14 gauge, it is a reasonably sized cord. It seems like a There is only a 15 amp rating for it.
The outlet on the 125v 30 amp cord is not the same as the 125v 15 amp cord. You should use an adaptor 125v 30 amp to 125v 15 amp.
Purchasing a cord made by Camco will not work, as I am unsure if this gauge cord will be sufficient. The quality of the product is low.
No puddles, so long as it is not sitting in one! The cord does its job very well. My trailer was plugged in all summer using this cord without issue.

That's our job! A project I had involved hiding the cords in vinyl siding required some other cords, so I purchased more of them. I am channeling. There is nothing wrong with this baby. This extension cord is the WWE. I had to hide the cord since it was almost impossible to hide.
No problems with the product. I just wish Amazon ad products were more and more accurate. In the event that you found this rating helpful, you may tap the "helpful" Considering that I wasn't paid to give this rating, my "pay" is knowing that I was able to influence someone to make a good choice.
Even the 15 amp version of this is an easy extension cord to deal with. 14 gauge wiring instead of 16 so this is a very strong extension cord. more for it, and it's thick, so you can really see the difference, but it's handy to have if you're running something that uses a lot of power, or just want to have the choice. It's surprising how hard it is to locate one The average extension cord has a rated power capacity of 13 amps, and your circuit breakers in your house probably have 15 so if you're in close range, it's probably not a good idea to use it.
It became difficult to insert other plugs into the cord just a few days after it was made. As though something inside the cord had broken. In order to open up the slotted area, a small slotted screw driver had to be inserted into the plug. Although there was no obstruction found, it helped for a while. I am extremely disappointed at the poor quality of this extension cord. I still have a difficult time connecting anything to it.
This is the item I ordered to give me power to my bumper- If anybody is building a LQ's horse tailer I recommend Camco they hold up to there name many of the parts are made right here in the U. S. I needed something that was heavy duty with a 120 volt pull and it need to stand up to the weather.
This cord is so thick that it would probably be best suited to a semi-rigid environment This is a permanent usage. The cable has not been designed to be lightweight. However, the manufacturer claims it can handle 15 amps. In general, extension cords no heavier than 13 amps can handle. If you don't plan to move it frequently, then this is the best choice!.
Initially I found this to be a great deal, but it appears that the price has more than doubled since my initial purchase - frustrating because I was planning to purchase.
