Questions & Answers

I discovered the thread pattern of OEM screws is different from those that were provided. How can I resolve ?

The bolts that came with mine are correct, you would just need to go to Ace and match the old thread to the new one.

Has the Jeep JKU 2015 been updated?

We should be able to use it in The 2015 has the same engine configuration as my 2014, so it will work on both of them.

Do you think it will work for ?

It's a different motor, I don't think so. Perhaps a new application for JL will be available soon.

Can this be mounted on a 2007 Jeep Wrangler A little more than 8 liters?

You will not be able to use part number 727636. You will need part number 727638 if your vehicle needs it.

I tried it, but it did not work
3/5

While I guess plenty of people may still choose to buy the product after reading my review, I thought it was worth the effort to write one. Volant Throttle Body Spacer is great quality, looks good and is supposed to serve a purpose, but fulfills none. This was installed on my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon in order to get my own experience to see whether it was true. I've filled up four times with gas both in the city and on the highway (about 1200 miles). I've noticed no increase in fuel economy at all, in fact, it may even be worse as the spacer takes up space that could be used for It has the exact same response at the throttle, and I have even used my programmer to check the intake temperature. The number 0 is equal to the number 1 There is absolutely no benefit from the product. Honestly, it does not even sound any different, maybe if there was a cool sound, it would have been worth the money, but I don't possess such a thing. The best advice I can give you is to save your money and buy beer or anything else else since this product is not worth the waste of the shipping box.

Improvements in low-level security You have reached the end of the This is a great value for your money
5/5

The use of throttle bottle spacers has brought much controversy, and we're not sure if they work at all or just give a false sense of security. It seemed to me that even a marginal improvement would put me ahead of the competition when I saw this deal for $40 bucks. Short story after the initial drives post-install I am extremely pleased with the result. The 3. 0 version seemed to work well as well. Almost all of the shortcomings of the 6L VVT Pentastar are due to its low power and inefficient design, which I'm finding to be exclusively the result of low-pressure and low torque It has to do with end torque. As soon as the TBS is installed, the engine no longer feels as gutless as it did at lower RPMs and has noticeable benefit in low-rpm acceleration I'm a little apprehensive about the end throttle response, but it seems to be the same in all gears (my JK is a 6spd manual). The following observations are specific Reinstalling the throttle body is as simple as securing the flat portion of the TBS to the existing throttle body using the provided gasket and installation of the 'finned' portion into the manifold using the supplied bolts and washers.
I will admit that I have a 33 in my JK. It has a Banks CAI and Dynomax cat and is a 5" Nitto with Rockstars There were already all of these installed at the time the TBS was installed.

The gasket and screw issues have been resolved
5/5

Just installed while installing a new cold air intake. The only reason I did this was because I knew I would be removing it and putting it back together would just be a simple extra step. In what way does it help? This review was written to point out that both the screws and the gasket lined up perfectly and were the proper length for the assembly (there are older reviews that highlighted issues with the screw length).

Worked like a charm
5/5

The cost of this was a bit higher than installing a CAI, but I decided to test it a few months after my CAI was installed to see if there was any difference. And, it did. In my Jeep, the low end torque is definitely higher, and the gear changes earlier, which leads to a more refined driving experience. The I’ve not seen much of a change in mile per gallon yet, but maybe that has more to do with just my routine. These things are very helpful and aren't very expensive, so I highly recommend them.

There is no need for me to feather the clutch nearly as much, and it doesn't choke out with a lack of peddle like it used to
5/5

There are so many people out there who don't believe that these things do anything, and i was also However, I had a gift card for Amazon worth 50$, so I decided to use it. I'll tell you, there's a difference between the two. There haven't been large differences, but I definitely notice more torque at low revs. There's a 14 Rubicon with a 5 in it that I have. Lifts with 5" of lift and 37s, heavy ones as well. My Jeep was never a powerhouse and it still isn't, but when I take off I can feel a difference. I don't have to feather the clutch as much anymore and it doesn't choke out with lack of peddle like it once did. Hence, if you have forty dollars laying around and you want a very minute bump in torque, you should absolutely do it. I also went from a 13 MPG to a 12 MPG. Children ages 3 to 14 are considered to be children. The jeep has not been modified in any other way.

I recommend this service because it is the most cost-effective option
5/5

Even though I am always skeptical about stuff like this, I have been interested in this type of spacer for some time. I have been using the Banks intake and exhaust on my 2014 Jeep Wrangler daily for about eight months now. In addition to the increased throttle response, it had more power off the bottom after installing the Volant spacer. I can hear a more powerful, smooth, and linear sound from my exhaust when I punch it as well as feel I'm sold, this is a terrific product. I'd like to see how the Banks program works.

This product is of the highest quality
5/5

A product like this is amazing when it comes to its intended use. The sound is so addicting! I have it paired with an AFE cold air intake and it sounds like there's an engine supercharger under the hood. It has a noise that you hear when you press the gas, the wind is sucked into the engine. In order for the product to be affordable, it does not have to be outrageously cheap in order for the quality to be compromised. Volant, thank you for making such a great.

Is there a reason not to? It's not something you can buy it's something you should make
3/5

It's really not that hard to do. I did not use this on a Jeep. My 5-inch tablet can fit it on top of it after I modified it. I give it 7 out of 10. You're right that it gives some torque at the low end. Well, I'm happyish but more because other than that, I'm boosting the gas mileage and well, sometimes you gotta pedal a little.
