The gasket that comes with the kit should suffice. Other materials are not required. Just make sure the old gasket is removed from the mating surface.
The 2010 Honda Accord 2 will not be able to use it.

This product works well and is an easy bolt-on for my '99 Prelude as a replacement for the stock one, which had a coolant fitting bust. Make certain to use lock-in mode. Screws like to vibrate out, so keep them tight. The only issue I'm having is that the throttle body sensors are reading more air coming in, and I'm still running a stock intake manifold, so the car will occasionally stall at idle because too much fuel is coming in, and the restrictive stock intake manifold isn't allowing enough air to flow. When the car is moving at high RPMs, it is in its element.

I would recommend this product to anyone looking to improve the performance of their Honda. br>br>******The Throttle Position Sensor is a "NON-INTERACTIVE" sensor. To install on this beast, you will need to drill out the bolt rivets on your previous throttle body and use the hex cap screws provided*********************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** If you have a series motor, you must purchase the B16 MAP Sensor and install it on the throttle before using it, or you will experience a vacuum leak. br>br>I'm a professional mechanic with a lot of aftermarket performance experience. My advice is to figure out what you'll need to modify before you buy it (as most performance parts will).
It's perfect! I installed it to my Skunk2 Pro manifold and it's just perfect, as you can see, highly recommended and very professional package.
Choose the smaller of the two options. My original throttle body had a significant air leak, so I needed this. On a 96 Teggy, this is the original stock manifold. B18b1. It is correct. br>br>At least, it appears to! While getting the manifold ported, I noticed the air passageway from the air intake to the iacv didn't quite match up. It's extremely annoying. And they're not going to return it. Take my word for it. br>br> Choose the one that is closest to the port size of your manifold or complete the task quickly enough to return it.
Everything works fine, but when the part arrived, the gasket had already been used. It wasn't a problem because, as I previously stated, everything went smoothly. Instead of using the one that came with it, I used thermal gaskets.
My Acura GSR was manufactured in 1998. I had a Skunk2 intake manifold and a stock throttle body, so the engine was idling strangely. I checked, and there was no external vacuum leak, so the Acura dealer couldn't figure out what was wrong. My throttle body had an internal vacuum leak, according to Skunk2. I put this on and it fixed the problem as well as giving me a slight boost in performance. Thank you, Skunk2, for a fantastic product and, more importantly, for your assistance in resolving my idle issue.
I've put about 40k miles on this TB and it's still going strong, with no signs of corrosion or sticking. I was blown away by Junk2's ability to create something that appears to be OEM-quality, so I'm overjoyed.
Excellent product.
