If you are planning to drive, check and trim it first.
I have the kit installed and am very satisfied with it. I made it. However, Spectre has taken the kit off the market, but you can still assemble it yourself, as you can still purchase all the parts.
The renix intake manifold I have installed on my 89 Cherokee. As my original intake box was missing, I used it along with silicone elbows, piping, and a cheap filter to make a raised intake. Everything seems to work fine.
The fit is perfect. I really like how it looks. I really like how it looks. downside is that intake hoses can be difficult to mount due to it not being very tall. However, this is the only option I have found for a Renix system.
We bought this for a Jeep Cherokee which has the Renix motor which is different in style from the stock motor. I had to use torx/star bits to remove the old air tube on my Jeep in order to install the new one. It is the only thing that I would suggest is that if you run an elbow from this, make sure it is very low profile to make sure the elbow clears the hood since space is limited.
Is perfect for a Jeep of the Renix era! As a result, I am basically able to run an HO setup without having to fabricate I am very happy with the result.
I purchased this to replace a throttle body on my 1990 Jeep Comanche Renix.
The cover fits perfectly on the Jeep Renix.
