In my previous vehicle, I had a N engine filter, and it made a big difference. So I figured, why not go all out and try the cold air intake this time? I'm amazed at how much of a difference it makes in my GT charger. It's not a hemi, just a small V6, but believe me when I say that this cold air intake completely transforms the driving experience! The car can now breathe because the throttle response is instantaneous. It goes when you gas it. It now also has the sound of a sports car. It is not audible when driving normally, but it is audible when the pedal is pressed to the metal. 6L roar and it goesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss.
Mileage and response times have improved. Simple to set up. Mileage and response times have improved. What else could you want? As is the case with all of the K, it's a little on the pricey side. For a plastic pipe and an air filter, you'll have to pay N, but you'll have to pay R. Kit comes with everything you need. An aside: DO NOT close the trunk lid if you disconnect the battery as instructed and your battery is in the trunk, as mine was. DOH! To get back to the battery, I had to crawl into the back seat and pull the "Kidnap escape handle. ".
However, I was able to make it work. New exhaust is beneficial, as it reduces intake restrictions. The Challenger has a better performance.
It comes highly recommended!.
The setup is simple. The most noticeable difference following the installation is the sound from the intake.
The instructions could definitely be improved to make the installation process not only easier but also faster. Regardless of the inconvenience, it was well worth the money. There have been noticeable improvements!.
Everything went on without a hitch, and it was a breeze to install! There's a little more oomph now.
It's fantastic, and it sounds fantastic.
