I like the look of the product. It seems well constructed. The fuel line was installed in line with the bike's fuel line and I could not get it to start. When I pulled the filter apart, one of the holes that lead to the main chamber (the output port to the interior of the filter) was not drilled through completely. There is now no obstacle to fuel passing I had to modify it. The filter mesh is similarly too tight for gravity fed applications, so it is not an ideal choice. Please call K&R I became frustrated for the first time in a decade after N let me down.

Several months ago, I bought 4 of these, and I planned on building a custom show off build from them. My first clock popped apart today as I was trying to install it. I first thought that it had been damaged. These three pieces are not connected by more than one thread. It looks like they are all the same and are held together only by There is no way to modify these so they Money is wasted on this. Another product I purchased was made probably in China, but it was much better constructed. I believe that these are a waste of time, money, and effort. Using these as a means to distribute dangerous products is a bad idea. I strongly urge you to refrain from buying these!.

When I opened it to find out how to change the filter, I found that the threads had already stripped. Currently, I have metal shavings in my filter, and I'm not sure that everything is able to be filtered due to a lack of seal on the element.

A fuel tank on my boat was very dirty by the time I purchased it. My issues persisted even after cleaning the tank multiple times and having to clean the carbs multiple times -- so I decided to purchase two of these filters and install one of them. The boat would be run until the filter filled up, and then the other filter would be changed, while the obstructive filter was cleaned. I've done this a multitude of times on the boat and it runs like a brand new one, and I have an extra filter to use in case anything goes wrong.

This kind of filter has been around before, but was Please call K&R In my view, N filters have a very good reputation for a long time and this one is no exception. My jaw dropped when I saw the price. In the original review, I rated this filter four stars. Having dropped the three to two weeks ago, now I'm dropping it to one. Manufacturing defects caused this filter not to have an outlet. The outlet was not drilled through, preventing gas from flowing out. I was fortunately able to diagnose the problem and fix it fairly easily. K&N so far has been it, but there is still so much to do Quality control is important.
