Motorcraft FD-4615 Fuel Filter + FL2051S OIL FILTER

I took about 30 minutes to complete this project from start to finish. I don't need any technical skills to do this job. With only a few minutes of watching a YouTube video, I knew everything that I needed to know. It is definitely a wise decision for the owner to handle this task himself to save money.

As the original owner of this vehicle, I do much of the maintenance myself to save money. By now, you would think I have the fuel filter change thing down since it is the 7th time I have changed it. Although the filter on the frame rail fit perfectly, the one on the engine did not want to fit into the sleeve. The spur of the plastic casting of the filter body was removed after I filed it down - I still feel uncomfortable with the tightness. There was so much friction that even after some lubrication, it would not rotate when the indexing tab was in place. However, since it was me, I removed the old filter and slipped it in - there was no problem. How do you get the truck when you need it? It would have been a good idea to put the old one back on so as not to contaminate anything. Ultimately, I had to cut the indexing tab off and gently tap the fuel line filter in so that the fuel lines could be The best I can do is to get it out as soon as possible.
