Yes, both o- and a- were included in my package. It didn't come wrapped in plastic like it used to, though. As a result, contaminants can easily pass through the filter element.

Threading and leaks are not the same thing
3/5

Junk! This new TP3012 replacement leaves a lot to be desired. On my Duramax, I've been using these filters for several years. The top gasket was warped and wouldn't seat properly, which was the first issue. After a lot of battling, I was able to get it to stay in the filter. Second, the threading on this filter was off, or something, and it would not screw on. After a long battle, I was finally able to put it on. The third issue is that it doesn't seat properly and leaks diesel, according to several people on this forum. Yes, it was a tight squeeze. If their new design is causing so many problems, you have to wonder how well it filters. br>br>I'd like to return it, but I'm not sure Amazon wants it back after it was contaminated with deisel. It could have been a bad filter, but I think I'll just go to Napa and get wix this time. I'd rather avoid contamination in my injectors than risk it.

The revised tp3018 is a waste of time
3/5

ACDelco's revision is pretty dreadful, and the TP3018 branding should be avoided. Unlike the previous white version, this one is single stage and does not have a coalescing filter. The filter that arrived was genuine GM, and I confirmed this with the GM parts desk here in town. I shared images of the new and old styles, respectively. For my lmm duramax, it appears that I'll need to find a new filter. br>br>The new GM number is 19420323, and the old one is 12664429.

It's as if I've been ripped to shreds
3/5

This picture shows a genuine AC Delco filter, but I received an FJF brand, which I didn't realize until I was ready to install it because the box looked so similar. Even the GM part number was used. I had to go get another filter because it wasn't worth it to take a chance on something I didn't understand. It's as if I've been ripped to shreds.

BUYER BEWARE: Product is subject to change
3/5

For years, I've been a fan of ACDelco fuel filters. For my 2006 Chevrolet 6, I have previously purchased filters from Amazon. Duramax is number six in the series. I've never had a problem with it. In January of 2020, I made my most recent purchase. I didn't check the boxes when I received my filters to see if they were correct. br>br>Despite the fact that the filter is labeled as a TP3018, the sub-filter is labeled as a TP3018. In comparison to previous models, the numbers are different. TP3018/12664429 is the correct filter for my truck. These were always functional, were painted white, and came in plastic packaging. I received a TP3018/19420323 when I reordered in January. The filter's secondary number was different, as you can see. I installed the 19420323 on the spur of the moment, not knowing what I was doing. My truck wouldn't start or run for no apparent reason. There is no fuel. br>br> When I looked at an old box and filter that I still had, I noticed a significant difference in the filter numbers. The new ones were TP3018/19420323 (which did not work) and the old ones were TP3018/12664429 (which did). I noticed a significant difference in the internals of the fuel filters when I looked through the bottom, where the fuel separator is located. In terms of construction, paint, and packaging, the new ones appear to be very low-cost. Back to Amazon. br>br> When you look up the TP3018/12664429, you'll see a photo of a TP3018/19420323, but the description says it's a 12664429 sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub-sub- number. When you look up the ACDelco number 19420323 or 12664429, you'll see the same photo of a filter 19420323 with a sub in the 12664429 description. br>br>I'm not sure what Chevrolet, 6, is at this point. TP3018/19420323 is a Duramax product. It won't fit in my truck, I'm sure of it. My Chevrolet, Duramax, 2006, has a 6-cylinder engine. On the TP3018/12664429, there have been six starts and runs. br>br>At the moment, I'm out about $75. 00, as well as two filters, one of which was defective and the other which was brand new. Despite the higher cost, I will most likely visit K. For my substitutes, I've used the letter N. br>br>ACDelco should be ashamed for taking over from the previous manufacturer. BEWARE OF THE BUYER/PURCHER. BR>BR>BUYER/PURCHER BEWARE OF THE BUYER/PURCHER BEWARE OF THE BUYER.

It's not the same as it used to be
3/5

The design of the vehicle has been altered by General Motors. This isn't the same as the old coalescing media filter made in the United States by Parker Haniffin. Recommend looking for old stock or purchasing directly from Parker. Racor PFF50216 This is not Amazon's or the supplier's fault. I bought these in three different places, including Amazon, and they were all the same blue re-design. It's a shift in the way things are done. The body of the new is blue, while the body of the old is white.

This is an excellent filter
5/5

These are the best filters to use with a stock fuel system on your Dmax. The aftermarket filter is more restrictive, but you shouldn't use it for more than one oil change. The majority of these individuals push out two. Three oil changes have been performed. You don't want to deplete the cp4 pump's energy supply. br>I use filter mags on my fuel filter because there is definitely iron in the diesel from the station pump and manufacturing, and I had black iron on the filter walls after cutting with a filter cutter. The outside of the filter is rough, but the inside is a micron filter that is extremely tight. The outside was filthy, but the inside was almost spotless. Unless something is very small, it appears that very little gets past the inside filter. br>br>These filters are a little pricey in my opinion, but in the diesel world, you have to pay to play. You should get yourself checked out if you buy diesel and think you'll have Camry upkeep.

There was a manufacturing flaw in the filter when it arrived
3/5

The filter was discovered to have a manufacturing flaw, allowing it to leak diesel and draw in air. After a week of attempting to resolve the problem, I decided to purchase a new Wix filter to replace it. I was unable to return the box because it was thrown away along with the filter that was on the truck before I installed this defective one.
