My Honda Odyssey 2000 had a difficult time installing it
5/5

Honda Odyssey (from 1999 to present) They made it difficult for themselves in 2004. br>1. The glove compartment must be removed by removing eight mm bolts from the bottom. If the screw isn't too tight, it can be removed with a phillips head. br> Remove the rollers from the glove compartment's interior. To remove the rollers, pull on the tab with the glove compartment slightly up but not completely down. When reinstalling the glove compartment, reverse the process so that the rollers are above the metal tab on the outside.
2. Plastic bar should be cut into pieces. A rotary saw or a small hacksaw will suffice.
3. Metal bar that has been cut The use of a rotary saw is advantageous. It's possible to gain access to the bolt from the ground level. br>All you have to do now is cut to get to the filter, which is blocked vertically by the bars.
4. The old filter should be removed. By pulling the to pivot towards you, you can remove the plastic cover. br>Use a narrow vacuum attachment to vacuum up any remaining dirt, pollen, dust, bugs, etc. (a dryer vent attachment with a long narrow flex hose works best).
5. Insert with care, taking into account the flow of air. From the left to the right The new air filter should have this information. If you don't want to invest in a saw, pay the dealer or a local oil change place the first time and ask them to cut and leave the metal bar off, then do it yourself the next time.

Honda pilot cabin air filter from the year 2006
5/5

In our 06 Honda Pilot, the old filter turned out to be an "original"! It was filthy and difficult to get in and out of. To get to the filter, the manufacturer makes it so that you have to cut a piece of the dashboard inside the glove box. It went in without a hitch after that. The bolts are tight and difficult to access, but they can be done. We haven't had it long enough to notice a difference, but it was filthy and in desperate need of replacement. THX!.

Excellent value and a *PERFECT* fit! Instructions can be found on YouTube
5/5

br>br>It's aggravating, but a driveway replacement takes about an hour from start to finish, and is likely to cost $200 at the dealer. Blow out the ducts as much as possible, and make sure the date is visible from the outside!.

This is our first time using this replacement cabin filter for our 06 Acura MDX, and it fits perfectly and appears to be working perfectly
5/5

Despite the fact that it has fewer pleats than the OEM part, it appears to be doing an excellent job of filtering the air when the air conditioner is turned on. It fits snugly in the housing, which is exactly how it should. I installed it on August 4, 2020, and I'll be watching it closely to see how long it lasts.

DIY is the ultimate
5/5

You can replace the cabinet air filter on your own with the help of YouTube. rather than wasting money, This inexpensive cabinet filter, available from an Acura dealer for $100, should keep the MDX's interior air quality above average. While the forest in California is being ravaged by wildfires, it is desperately needed.

Excellent filter, dreadful SUV
5/5

Wow - A cabin filter can be replaced in less than an hour. The filter works flawlessly - BUY IT - You'll go insane trying to install it. To remove and install the filter, remove the glove box, glove box hardware, and cut the dashboard with a hacksaw (if it hasn't already been cut). It's a good thing I did it myself (BUY THE FILTER), because it would have cost me ten times as much.

It is a good deal
5/5

In a 2002 Honda Odyssey, it was a perfect fit. br>br>The three stars for ease of installation are not due to the product; rather, it is due to Honda's failure to make this filter easily accessible. About 20- For a non-mechanic, it is a 30-minute job.
