It's lovely that K&N is putting out this intake As the owner of a 2008 Nissan Maxima, I wanted to make the vehicle sound a little more aggressive without spending a fortune on a new In no way did I expect this product to exceed When I move my car in second and third gear over 2500 RPM, the sound makes my car sound really deep and clean. Anyone who is looking for this kind of result would be advised to try it out.
Follow the directions but it was not as easy as I thought. Currently have this installed on my 2008 Nissan Maxima and it works The installation is simple with the right instructions, but you will need a couple of hours to complete Eventually, I was able to remove the two screws on the oxygen sensor but I had to remove the screws on the k & o In addition to a filter, there was an adapter as well. I like the sound of this and the response is better. The mileage has improved by about 40 percent so far. I average 8 miles per gallon on the road. The sound could be better but I do place it a little closer to the petal so it can be heard.
When I had a cheap ebay cold air intake (CAI) that I hated, it came from China. Driving was not enjoyable since the sound was horrible and I did not appreciate the driving experience. At some point, I decided to scrap it and go This one is good because it has a great sound, plus it makes my car feel In the meantime, follow up as follows We've been listening to it for 9 months and it still sounds incredible. I still think the filter is in very good condition. don't like red, so I may have to buy a new one-- The color is the only one available. It is important to take in the N. There is also a blue LED mod for the Altima.
My 2005 Nissan Altima 3 had a noticeable power increase after installing this. Then I added a magnaflow catback and did not notice a significant power difference in the car, but it.
As a consequence of getting a ticket, the cop told my son to have a smog test to see if everything was okay. There was no problem with this air intake!.
My horsepower increased big time with this product, and I was blown away by the sound it makes when I turn it on.
It takes about a twenty-minute job to install a great cold air intake I spent 25 minutes on this. You can definitely tell the difference in sound and get two more mpg.
This is a great product. There is definitely a difference in how I feel and hear. The reason I gave the product 4 stars is that after installation the oil pressure warning light came on during idle once the engine warmed up, and I heard some pressure noises. In spite of many visits to Nissan with no luck, I looked at the directions and realized the last step on the instructions did not apply to my vehicle. It was difficult for me to allow air back into the intake shaft from the motor due to the lack of holes, and i had to purchase one of those mini shaped intakes to plug the opening. The intake is not what I had expected instead of spending tons of money or selling my car, i am now satisfied with it. Lexus Maxima 2008.
