This is a very easy to install product. In this case, the holding tank would fill when I was connected to city water. Whenever I drank water from the holding tank, the pump would randomly come on for a second or two. For leaks, I checked both the i and the l. In order to isolate the pump, I utilized the winterizing valve. In the pump, there is a check valve. That was a bad idea. You can buy this valve for $15 or you can buy a new pump for $80 that may develop the same issue. Be sure to check your valves!.

Paying a little more now could save you money in the long run It costs a LOT less now, but a LOT more For years, my old plastic check valve had been leaking

I replaced it with this high quality brass valve to stop it. The RV water system needs to be winterized accordingly when you do that An unreliable valve allows expensive antifreeze to wind up in the drain line of the hot water heater. In the long run, this brass valve may save me more than 15 dollars of antifreeze per year in comparison to cheap plastic. I dunno, I'm not certain The money I could have wasted down the road is now saved.

As they say, out of sight, out of mind, this device does what it is supposed to do and will be installed behind walls so it will not be seen. Despite its age, it doesn't seem like it will cause any problems and will last another 25 years beyond There is a good quality in it. Thank you, John.

This is a far better product than that of Camco

In short, yes. Compared to the Camco valve, this is much better. Camcos both worked for me. During the two weeks they worked together, each worked about 60 hours a week. Since we got it a couple months ago, the Valterra has worked perfectly.
