This is a part on my Toyota Tacoma that made a horrible whirring noise when the truck was cold. I compared it to the OEM part and it appears to be identical. The noise is gone, and the truck runs fine; the only minor flaw is the gray electrical connector on this part, which was molded a little too small and cracked when I tried to push it onto the bracket. Even so, I saved hundreds of dollars and it works fine. br>********
This part was cheap and worked well for a short time, but after 12 years, it now grinds at cold starts ups just like the worn out OEM part. I recommend getting the OEM part, which costs over $700 but can be found for around $450 at some dealerships.

Great replacement product; the air pump was simple to install and perform as expected

The warning light on the dashboard has now turned off. Remove the foam air filter from the top section of the air pump and replace it with a Uni Filter UP-100 external clamp-on filter. Amazon is selling it for 107 dollars. This will keep the foam filter from degrading and destroying the air pump, which was the cause of the original pump's failure. Great replacement product that is simple to install and saves the dealer a lot of money on repairs.

This is a faulty China product, and it is not a good replacement

When the original Toyota one broke, I replaced it with this one. It was working for two days and then stopped working. It could be a faulty batch, but in any case, it's a Chinese product that stinks. I'm hoping that this one's replacement will last a little longer.

Exceptional value compared to the original equipment part! When compared to the factory air pump, it is not as quiet to operate

However, the price is unbeatable! It's simple to install and the replacement fit is perfect. So far, this air pump has performed admirably, with no issues. I am extremely pleased with it. When replacing the air pump, make certain to use an aftermarket inlet filter.

I used to work for a company that did everything for you. Only manual transmission is mentioned in the description. What difference does it make? It has a backup air pump.
