Is this suitable for use as part of a snorkel kit for a UTV or is it likely to dry rot?

Under my car's hood, I've used it as a snorkel tube to run near the exhaust header. I've been there for a couple of years now and it still looks brand As long as both ends of the wire are clamped to their fittings, it has been fine since installation. The wire is a little hard to cut to length without tears through the silicone wrap.

At what temperature does it get hot. ?

This is what I use to dry tanks and monitor the temperature. A maximum of 225 Fahrenheit is allowed.

It is the ID internal diameter of 76mm (3 inches) that determines ducting size. With this duct, you can mount your brake outlet on your 3 inch model.

Pipes like this are sturdy enough to be supported directly by a wall and flexible enough to bend two ways. There was a 24" length to my application. There were a lot of difficulties in finding this, but it was well worth the effort. That was such a great deal for me!.

Everything is going well. Brake cooling ducts are made of this material. Although I wish they sold hoses with higher temperature ratings, this works well.
