I change the air filters once a year, and these are no longer in use. In addition, they must be pulled from time to time for repairs or maintenance. They tear at the connection where the metal meets the plastic after 6 or 7 times, about 5 years. I experimented with black duct tape for a while before deciding to replace them. For the pair, the lical MB dealer was asking $100. When I bought these a few months ago, they were $40, so I decided to give them a try. The quality is adequate, if not excellent. I knew they wouldn't be exactly like the factory ones, but when compared to the MB version, these are a solid 7 out of 10. They appear to have a 4- to 5-year life expectancy. I'd recommend these for less than half the price of MB parts because the originals start coming apart around that time.

When compared to an OEM part, it's a good buy; only time will tell if it starts to fall apart every time I remove the air intake filters to replace them.

It took me about 3 minutes to set up. As you remove the old ones, just pay attention to the fittings because, while the hoses appear to be very similar, the left and right ones ARE different, and there was nothing in the packaging to indicate which was which.
