Is it possible to use the original mounting hardware? Is it better if I simply swap them?

I'm guessing you're referring to the factory-installed rubber hangers. I used mine instead of the ones that came with the pipes, and it seemed to fit better. They fit perfectly into the factory exhaust system, and the car sounds great, albeit a little loud. My car is a 2018 Subaru WRX STI.
