Questions & Answers
No, the catalytic converter does not need to be removed. This is only the exhaust system's back section.
Borla stainless steel, to be precise.
Yes, and it comes with everything you'll need, and it's incredibly simple to set up with the right tools. It has a nice mean low sound and is quieter than the stock exhaust. In addition, they only produce front-wheel-drive tcs.
Right now, all I know is that it goes with the years 2011-2012. Models for the coming year I'm not sure if the 2016 model has the same look as the 2015 model. Sorry

Purchased for a Scion TC from 2012. br>I've ordered exhaust parts via mail before, and due to their weight and irregular shapes, the box they arrive in is usually damaged, and the part is as well. br>The Borla packaging is superior, as is the box. Foam packing has been used to cushion the part. br>It took about 30 minutes to complete the installation. br>Make sure the band clamp that connects the muffler to the pipe is really tightened. br>I was hesitant about cranking on it because I thought it might snap, but it's pretty strong material. br>br>The sound is a little deeper and louder than stock and not obnoxious ricer sounding. br>I strongly advise it.
Welp didn't have a gasket or hangers to begin with. When it says "has everything you need," it means exactly that. That didn't happen, so no. Not to mention the poor quality of the welding. Splatter was left on the exhaust, and the weld had a pinhole in it. The sound isn't very loud, but it'll rust. However, there is a smidgeon of a drone in there. It's difficult to tell. However, it has a higher torque.
It was exactly what I needed. Because my car is my daily driver, I didn't want a fart can or a super loud exhaust. The exhaust could almost pass for stock when driving like a grandmother. When you play it, you'll notice that it has a silky, deep tone with no rasp. There's almost no drone at cruising speeds. The installation is very straightforward, though you may need to adjust the slip-on clamp a few times to avoid exhaust leaks. It's a low-key exhaust that won't draw unwanted attention from the cops if that's something you're concerned about. It arrived in excellent condition, complete with a high-quality cap and stickers. I'm hoping that once I get some mid pipes and a header, it won't sound like a riced-out civic, but it gets 5 stars from me right now.
The exhaust note is a little louder and has a bit more depth than stock. Despite the fact that this exhaust isn't particularly loud. At around 2400 rpm, you'll hear it. So it's nice when you first get on it, but if you're looking for a loud, proud exhaust, this isn't it. It's designed for the daily driver who wants to make a little noise but not wake up the neighbors. The finish and quality are excellent, and the package includes a hat and stickers. That's cool, but I wish it could be louder without modifying other parts of the exhaust.
This is well worth the investment! I have a 15 tC with a stock exhaust that sounded good for a Toyota, but it sounded 100 times better after I installed this new exhaust. I couldn't tell the difference at first, so I started driving. The first thing I noticed was that the car was a lot lighter, and after I left the mechanic (which took 20 minutes), I noticed that the car was a lot lighter. After 30 minutes of installation, I was revving the car and noticed a significant difference, as well as how much nicer it felt and sounded! The money spent was well spent. I've had it for a month and have had no check engine lights or problems. 10/10.
He adores his car and had hoped to receive this as a present for his birthday. He did the installation himself and stated that his car is in excellent condition. His birthday present has made him very happy!.
It's a great exhaust system that's simple to set up. When sliding tubes together, point the tip of the tube at the ground. Old bolts and hangers can be cleaned with We 40. Please get out of here. This sounds a lot better than I had anticipated. The volume should not be excessive. It's only enough to make you aware that it exists.
This bad boy, when combined with the AEM cold air intake, gives the TC the sweetest low rumble you can imagine; it's the furthest thing from a fart can; I'm sure it'll unlock even more growl once I put the Dezod green headers in. There was no RASP at all. br>br>My average highway MPG increased from 27 to 29. mpg ranges from 28 to 31 mpg, depending on how quickly you accelerate. 3000 rpms is a dream come true. The GReddy Evo 3 exhaust is no longer available, so this is a must-have.
