My 2002 Volvo XC70 is compatible with this part. Initially I thought that wasn't the issue, but I learned that wasn't the case. There was a leak under the car caused by an evap hose. There was some kind of unplugging going on. my display to display a message that confirmed that my gas cap was loose, and later stated that I had a fuel leak. Then, the check engine light appeared, along with fuel and evap Connecting the hose again and clearing the code resulted in the problem being solved. A 500-mile drive later. . . nothing to worry about.
