This will fit the 2003 Jeep Liberty, but you'll need to use our 54441 tail pipe.
It does not come with new nuts; I simply used the ones that came with it. To make the tail pipe fit over the muffler's outlet stub, I had to hacksaw two slots in it.

Now it's nice and quiet. Order one 2 - inch tail pipe. Also included are a 1/4" clamp and two muffler nuts. If the passenger side of the car is jacked up, you can remove the old muffler with the tailpipe (in one piece) without cutting it. Jeep Liberty 3, model year 2004 7 V6. Dealing with the rubber hangers proved to be the most difficult part of the job. Apply a generous amount of WD40 to them. M10x1 is what you'll need. A total of 5 flange nuts and a total of 2 flange nuts are required. Clamp is 25" long. I also purchased the matching tailpipe to go with this muffler. br>br>The muffler is quiet, which I like, and it's worth noting that the Walker muffler is designed for a variety of applications, not just the Liberty. It fits perfectly, but the dimensions are a little larger than OEM. Mine was reverberating all over the place in the cabin. It turned out to be made of metal. Metal rubbing on my rear control arm bolt; for the time being, I've used a chunk of rubber to isolate the bolt from the muffler, and it seems to be working. In the long run, I'll have to smash a relief dent or, if possible, bend things around. I also recommend getting the matching tail pipe. br>br>My Jeep is also running better now that the proper back pressure has been restored, and it feels like the low end torque has returned. My old muffler was completely rotted on the inside and out, so I was basically running a straight pipe at the time.
Great Muffler for 2004 Jeep Liberty, but missing a key component. However, new flanged nuts to attach it are not included. To match the threads on the muffler, I went to a few auto and hardware stores. It appears to be a standard 3/8-16 thread (metric was also tried). There was nothing that matched the threads. I had no choice but to use the original flanged nuts, which were in poor condition. The threads on the older flange nut were identical. There is also no information on their website. Please include these flanged nuts in your regular order to avoid wasting time. We'll pay a higher price.

A pin hole exists where the flange is welded to the muffler due to shoddy welding. It's not the weep hole, no. The weld was not completed correctly, as you can see. The muffler's weak point is where water and air escape. I attempted to remove the muffler, but the clamps had crimped the tail pipe to it, making it impossible to remove without damaging the new tail pipe; now I must locate a garage to correct their error.
2093 Jeep Liberty KJ 3. 7 v6. It's back to being pleasant and quiet. This is a quiet muffler, which I like for my 2003 Jeep Liberty/Cherokee limited 3. 7l v6. It's made of aluminized steel, which means it'll rust faster than stainless steel, but for the price, it's ideal. Installed in 30 minutes and welded to the stock steel tail pipe for $50 at a local shop, bringing my muffler repair to a total of 106 dollars, which is fantastic! So far, I'm very pleased with the product; it's a great value for the money, and it arrived quickly and in good condition. This is a quiet muffler, just like the original OEM one, and it is not at all noisy. Get something else if you want to make a lot of noise. In comparison to my rusted-out engine, this one performs much better.
Unfortunately, the quality of the material matches the price, but I suppose I can't complain because you get what you pay for in most cases. These are the results after exactly two years of using this exhaust. This muffler and tail pipe set was recently purchased again, and I intend to paint it with high-temperature rust-resistant paint to extend its life. Overall, it's a good option for someone who wants to save money and only needs it for a short period of time.
This was purchased for my Jeep Liberty, which was manufactured in 2007. 2 1/4" exhaust sleeve clamp and (2) M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M10 - M 5 nuts, a set of sockets, and an angle grinder with a cut-off wheel are also required. off the wheel, especially if your muffler is rusted to the tailpipe (as mine is). br>The procedure is simple: unbolt the front pipe section and use the grinder to cut the muffler off near the end. Place the new muffler on top of the tailpipe and secure the front. Tighten the clamp around the back of the chair and all of the bolts. br>br>It sounds fantastic, and I'm glad I was able to save some money by doing it myself.
