Examine the specifications for the bolts on your riding mower once more. In the manual, there should be one or two pages. Look for the muffler in that area. You'll also discover the bolt and thread types. Then you go out and buy them and install them on your exhaust system. Get the gasket as well. I hope this information is useful.

4/2019. Today is the day to put this "muffler" on. It appeared to be in excellent condition. The box, on the other hand, was in very poor condition. It was completely naked inside a priority mail box that was far too small for it. After that, it was taped shut, ripped apart, and repaired with more repair tape. It was clear tape, and the cardboard underneath was ripped jagged, so you could tell it was done after the fact. It shouldn't have been harmed as a result of this, but who knows? br>br>Anyway, it was a lot louder after I hooked it up to my 19hp engine. I waited for it to cool down before inspecting the gasket. It was fine; the whole thing was hot, and there were no leaks that I noticed. I turned off the "muffler" and it sounded about the same as it did with it on. It primarily serves as an exhaust pipe, transferring heat away from the engine.
It was a perfect match. Yes, there is a difference between the old one and the new one. The new one, on the other hand, was a perfect fit. I've noticed that when I start it up, I don't get the same amount of smoke as before. I intend to purchase this item again.
My LT200 Craftsman lawn tractor's muffler arrived in good condition and was the correct fit. The engine mounting hole had to be tapped out with a 1/4-inch drill bit. This second thru hole was aligned with the mounting bracket on the new design, which was 20 tap. It's not a big deal. Muffler is a fantastic product. It's a huge improvement over the previous version. It took me longer to remove the packaging tape used by the seller to secure the gasket package and other labels on the muffler than it did to remove the old muffler and replace it. For the seller, I have a suggestion. Instead of wrapping the muffler with adhesive tape, use a zip tie to secure the package with the gasket and labels to the hole in the support bracket.
The muffler isn't as good as the original because it was cut on the cheap. The bend in the pipe coming off the engine was also shorter than it should have been, leaving it dangerously close to the spark plug. It's also built differently, with a shorter pipe and bolts that require drilling and tapping into a thankfully pre-drilled hole. drilled a hole in the engine's cylinder head None of this is the seller's fault; in fact, the seller was fantastic; however, they are now all made in this manner. Overall, it performs admirably and will most likely suffice, but if you have an older style original muffler, expect to put in some effort.
It was a perfect fit for my old Poulan lawnmower. Easy to set up and of good quality. The package was delivered without the gasket, but this was due to a supplier error, and the seller quickly rectified the situation. It's not as quiet as my neighbor's new Husky mower, but you can't compare the two, and it's a lot quieter than the old rusted out muffler it replaced.
It arrived three days ahead of schedule. It's already on my mower and running smoothly; it's not a copy of the one I had. However, it is still an ideal fit. The only difference was the shape of the exhaust tube as it entered the muffler, which had no bearing on the installation. I'd highly recommend them, and I'll be using them again.
Briggs is a tight fit. Stratton 19 HP, but I got it on and the difference in noise reduction was well worth the money; it still loads, but it's a lot better. It makes it a little more difficult to fully open the hood on my Murray 42-inch mower, but it's not a big deal. The replacement is satisfactory to me.
It's fairly simple to set up. We're glad we read the reviews and realized we should have purchased a gasket as well. We had no idea what was going on. We went ahead and ordered the gasket, which we're glad we did. It took me no time to complete the installation.
