Is 2. 5 but if you want to go lauded, I recommend using a 3" one; the only thing you'll need is an adapter for 2. 5 to 3”
This is just a generic muffler that can be welded to any car's exhaust system; I believe a stock silverado's exhaust system has a 2. The exhaust is 5", but it can be changed to 3" at any muffler shop.
It is determined by the size of the car's exhaust pipe. It's possible that a 2 will be required. 5" in length.
One should be more than sufficient.

The stainless welds are nicely done, and the product is well made. Because it's a straight-through design, it's quite loud, so keep that in mind. br>br>Installed on April 4, 2007. With a cam and 1 7/8 headers, it's an 8L Silverado. It gets a lot of attention.
These are the mufflers to get if you want a loud, look for me down 5 blocks muscle car sound. I put them on a 92 S10 with a 454 LSX and was blown away by the sound and deep tone my hot rod now has. To be honest, they're almost too loud to drive on the road without getting pulled over, but man oh man, what a sound these make!.
Loud, but not in an obnoxious way. It has received a lot of positive feedback.
After seeing some videos of these mufflers, I decided to give them a shot. They sound a lot better than the muffler delete, and they're not as raspy on the top end. They have a slightly deeper tone than the factory mufflers, but they are still relatively quiet (as quiet as a 392 can be, I suppose). The factory pipes on my srt 392 were two, so I had them installed by a local muffler shop. I wasn't in the mood to do it myself because I was 75. They are, however, a great way to add some rumble for $320 (mufflers and installation). The resonators are still on, and there is a slight drone, but it's nothing compared to the mid-muffler delete.
They created a good amount of back pressure, but this is a very very loud setup I don't recommend for stock engine applications or daily drivers. I have this paired up with long tube headers 3in xpipe to 2 carvenR 3in exhaust. This muffler is installed on a 2015 GMC Sierra with the 5. 3 L This is the best muffler I've ever had on this truck, and I'm very happy with it.
It's been installed on a Toyota Tundra, and it makes the truck really roar. The shop charged $160 for installation, which is still less than the bolt on itself. The pipes were custom fabricated at the shop and are more like a bolt on, so I can take it off when it gets too much.
