Questions & Answers
Yes, it should fit. You might want to take it to a custom shop to install it, as I did. This one is 3"; I'll go with the 2"1/2 because the sound is fantastic on my 2003 Mini Cooper non-s.
As long as the exhaust is three inches in diameter.
Doubt it. If my memory serves me correctly, the Vette muffler is transversely mounted, with the inlet and outlet on the same side; this one, on the other hand, is a straight through, as seen on trucks.
If it has 3" exhaust, it almost certainly will.

My 2019 GMC 6 now has it installed. Duals from the factory on a 2L Sierra AT4. It has a nice rumbly tone to it without being too loud for a trailer park mustang. To compensate for the length difference, I had to add about a foot of pipe, but it wasn't a big deal.
In the cab, I wanted a muffler with a deep, mellow tone that wasn't obnoxious. On my 2018 F150 5, this is ideal. The factory resonator, as well as the tailpipe, were left in place. It's a huge improvement over the factory muffler. This is a great muffler to use in place of the factory one if you want moderate rumble with no drone. WOT sounds fantastic in the cab, but it's not overly aggressive.
Muffler is very nice. There are no scratches on the packaging. A sticker was included in the package. br>My application is as follows: Chevy Silverado 1500 LT ext cab 5. 2010 Chevy Silverado 1500 LT ext cab 3l 6. 5ft bed. br>Remove the stock muffler from the barbeque grill just before it. Before the muffler, the exhaust pipe was 3" OD, and after the muffler, it was 2" OD. After the muffler, the overall dimension is 75" OD. br>After the muffler, I ran a 1ft 3" OD pipe and a 3" downturn all the way to the rear axle. In my opinion, this is a fantastic set-up. With the proxs, it sounds like a nice truck. With the stock muffler, it sounded like a car. I fell in love with the growl it makes at lower rpms, such as when cruising at 20-plus miles per hour. When you're going 25 mph and you slam on the brakes, you'll hear a big mean dog growl. It's a lot louder now that you've hit it off the line. It will draw some attention, but it isn't obnoxious in the least. Sounds like a badass truck to me. br>The cold start is a little jarring. With its low bassy womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp womp It's warm and quiet in idle, but even with the windows down at a stop light, you can hear it. There is no drone on the highway with the windows up or down, but you can hear the exhaust, which you can definitely hear when passing, but there is no drone. br>I've driven it for about 800 miles now and it's gotten a little louder, but not by much. It's a lot of fun. br>So, if you're looking for a muffler that's louder than stock but not as loud as most exhausts, Borla makes low bass sounding mufflers that sound mean and are the best deal you'll find for the price.
This is something I adore and wish I could do every day. I just swapped out the mufflers and jacked up the reso. On my 2013 Ford F150, I've got a 5. Because someone else said the same thing in a review, I decided to do the same. If you want more sound and a deeper rumble, this is a fantastic option. It's ideal if you want a little more sound without the annoyance of being pulled over every week. Outside the cab, there isn't much of a difference, but it's noticeable. There is a pleasant sound in the cab. There is a small drone, but it is very small, but it is a really good low-sounding drone that I enjoy. In the cab, you can easily carry on a conversation. You can barely hear the exhaust or tires if I turn up the volume on my radio even to a quarter. If your score is a five, you're in good shape. This muffler would be great for a 0 F150. I'd also point out that without the reso, this would be quite loud.
Muffler is of good quality. This one took the place of a Thrush Hush turbo muffler. The Borla has a superior build and finish. It is loud, but not obnoxious, when you accelerate. Even at higher rpms, the cruising tone is pleasant and quiet. There was no sign of the drone. Also nice and quiet is the idle tone. With a thorough design, performance is as expected. It's essentially a perforated tube surrounded by packing. Overall, this is a great option for a performance muffler that won't break the bank. A 1992 Toyota 3 is the vehicle I'm using. 4x4 pickup with a 0 3vze v6 engine.
I got my 3" cat back from Ebay for a good price, but it came with a Thrush glass pac that droned horribly at most RPMs, making towing my travel trailer a pain. Above idle, this muffler has a growl, but not much drone. br>br>9/16/19 updatebr>Just returned from 1000 mile trip with trailer through mostly mountains, pleased with power increase, but this muffler is still too loud when accelerating with a 5000 pound load being towed. Without the trailer, the sound is fine around town.
Love this muffler. I didn't realize it was three in and out at first, but that's my fault for not looking. I still had pipe stretched and welded to fit, and it has a low profile compared to stock and a great sound. It's low and mellow, but at higher rpms, it packs a punch. With a beautiful sound combination, I can clearly hear my turbo pushing air through. If you're not looking for a fat can sound, this is a must-have.
7-liter V8 engine. 7L V8. This Borla muffler is the answer if you want your truck to sound like a truck while not being too loud. Because it is welded on, I had it installed by a local shop. The muffler creates a perfect "growl" rumble, as I like to refer to it. The resonaters are still turned on. This muffler has increased my fuel MPG by 2-percentage points. I was not expecting 3 miles per gallon. At 75 mph, I usually got around 20 mpg with the stock muffler, but on my most recent trip, I got 23 mpg with Borla (Note: on standard road tires; we'll be testing the performance of all-terrain tires soon). br>br>Great sound once again!.
