The official response is this: These are made to be welded into place. Because the collar has no'slots,' if you try to clamp it, there will be very little 'flex,' and your connection may not be secure enough. Unofficially, you could cut three or four'slots' in the collars, allowing the collar to flex and provide a more secure clamp connection.

Yes, simply determine the diameter of your existing exhaust pipe; it may not be a direct bolt-on, but an exhaust shop can weld it in.
The inlet and outlet diameters of this universal muffler are 3 inches. 5" For most vehicles, this would necessitate fabrication and custom installation.

It's perfect in my opinion: aggressive, but not overly so. It's obvious when you get on it, but it's quiet when you're cruising down the freeway. I kept the resonator in place and only changed out the muffler and added a chrome tip. I can hear something baffling, but I'm not sure if it's the tip or the resonator. Overall, a fantastic product with a fantastic sound.
I placed the incorrect order.
2L V8. Only complaint is that I wish it could be clamped on. I had to modify it a little to get it to work, but other than that, it's an awesome muffler!.
On my 2010 Chevy 2500hd, I have a 5in pipe installed. It sounds fantastic. Throaty and obnoxious. But it's still a very quiet place. The only complaint I have is that at around 2k rpms, the drone in the cab is pretty bad. It's great that people are listening to you!.
This was something my son wanted for his 2019 Dodge Ram 2500. He desired a more audible truck. That's exactly what this muffler did, but it's not insanely loud enough to wake up the neighbor. It has the same lovely rumble as my old corvette. br>I adore the sound of his truck!.
A little on the pricey side. The quality is adequate, but not exceptional (internal ridges where the pipe meets the perforated pipe are fairly abrupt). br>br>The sound is fine, but it will completely silence your turbo (if you have one). It wasn't nearly as quiet as I expected. The word "boomy" comes to mind.
For three people, the best muffler is 5" 6. Without committing to a full system, 2s is a viable option.
That sounds promising.
