These have been used on a total of five occasions. 4 and 6. 8 Triton has never had a problem and is of premium quality; the one star reviewer was most likely inexperienced. My guess is that he didn't properly clean out the old threads or drilled too deep to hit a water jacket, so he blames the new studs so the wife won't make him sleep on the sofa.
Yes, the measurements are in metric, and this kit will fit any Ford V10.

On my 2008 F250 V10 6, I used this kit. I had three broken bolts on the passenger side, and one broke on the front as I was removing it. To remove the broken bolts, I used a Harbor Freight 90-degree air drill, which worked perfectly. Milwaukee (Black) NO WALKING drill bits (BRAND NEW, NEVER USED) were also used. I started with the smallest bit (1/16) and gradually increased the size of the bits until I reached 1/8. Keep in mind that you'll need to cut the shanks as you go to fit everything in! Before I began drilling, I sprayed penetrating oil into the threads and then went around each thread with a pick to clean it and remove any debris that might obstruct the removal of the broken stud. There's a good chance that when you start drilling, the broken stud will SCREW in even further, so you'll need to keep cleaning the threads to make pulling it out easier. You can actually unscrew your EASY OUT with your fingers once you've tapped it into the hole (if you've been cleaning your threads). br>br>After removing the broken studs, I used a tap to clean all of the threads, making it easier to screw in the new stainless steel studs; however, I read somewhere that after using the stainless steel nuts and bolts for a few days, they came loose on him. MY ATTENTION WAS CAPTURED BY THAT. I made use of anti- On the studs, I used red locktight, but on the last few threads of the nut, I used red locktight. Furthermore, I went to Oreilly Auto and purchased the Dorman version of the Studs and Nuts (ten pack) because the nuts are self-locking (Oval), and I installed and tightened those nuts on top of my already installed stainless steel Nuts! Nothing has come loose so far! Soon, I'll begin work on the passenger side! Have fun with yours; once you get started and overcome your fears, it's not so bad!.
This product is excellent; I used it on my V10 and it performed admirably.
Excellent craftsmanship.
It's a fantastic product.
I didn't read it because I didn't want to be bothered. It said it was a set, and I was expecting 20. This was fantastic.
So far, I've been pleased with the price.
I completed the task at hand. Great.
