It did the job I needed it to do, with the exhaust smoke exiting at the pipe's end

I only require two of them. As a result, I now have some spare time. The retaining clip was the source of my issues. It did hold the top bolt in place, but I had to take it out and use a vice grip to squeeze the clip to the bolt. I gave it another shot, and it worked this time. Because the bolt, clip, and nut set did not include a washer, I used the original nut.

Don't take a chance

Even if you believe the bolts on your exhaust manifold will fall out. Have this set on hand in case things take a turn for the worse. A cheap insurance policy that will save you an hour of cursing.
