It ought to - I bolted up to the factory-installed 2003 5. 9 - This is a good product - I believe the 2005 turbo is the same.br> It appears that the truck is performing better.
Yes, the bolt pattern is identical, but the turbo mounting location on the 6 appears to be different. The number seven vs. the number five
There are two ports on it, yes. Although it does not include a quarter-inch reducer, it does include a plug for the other port.
The turbo mounting flange is identical to that found on OEM turbos. It will work with any turbo that has that bolt configuration. However, it's a good idea to double-check that the replacement turbo won't outperform the engine.

Good product, but two flaws in the bolting didn't impress me. The first is when bolting it to the turbo, where the right front bolt begins to touch the top (yes, I ran it all the way down and used the correct ones in all four holes) of the slot they machined out (it seems tight now with no leaks, but it doesn't inspire confidence in me). The other issue is that on cylinder 5, they didn't provide enough access to get the right angle, let alone a socket, so I had to use the bottom bolt.
Because I enjoy BD products, I'm giving it a higher rating than it probably deserves. Because some of the mounting bolt clearances were way too tight, this was a difficult installation. To allow a wrench to pass over the bolt heads, BD should machine enough clearance around the three difficult studs and bolts. Having said that, it's a good unit once it's installed. The product is sturdy and well-made.
During trailer towing, I reduced my EGTs. I also purchased the heavy-duty gasket kit (1045986), which costs half as much as the BD kit. In the photos, they appear to be identical. Because the heat shield isn't compatible with the BD manifold, I also purchased the Dorman stud kit.
The Dodge Ram 3500 was introduced in 2005, and it has a capacity of 5,500 9L QCLBbr>I like the product and the fitment; it was easy to install and works well. BUT. . . . The BD bolt kit was a colossal failure, with 10mm bolts and spacers having a 9. br>Quality Control? 5mm diameter, hmmm, ohhh, simple math says it won't fit.
Canada has a lot of units. br>br>I spoke with customer service a couple of times and they were fantastic.
Cummins 9 liter diesel engine There were no problems or issues. The quality of the BD diesel is excellent, and the installation went smoothly.
It arrived quickly and was an excellent product.
