Questions & Answers

What does it look like? Is it ?

Silver paint will look like it has been sprayed on.

Can you tell me whether the silver wrap coating is ?

Do you know what metallic silver is? I don't think so. The color is all that matters. Thank you- *br> *Heat coating is a great way to finish off a clean, well-made surface If the Exhaust Insulating Wrap is to protect exhaust pipes, it is recommended that the Hi-tech version be used It is a heat-resistant coating. In addition to protecting the wrap from abrasion and liquid spills, this coating also has anti-static properties. The resins and binders added to the wrap make it tough, extend the life of the wrap by protecting it from friction, and seal the pores to minimize liquid penetration. I'm doing well. In conjunction with ThermoTec Exhaust Insulating Products, Heat Coating can withstand direct and continuous heat up to 2000 degrees Fahrenheit. Moreover, the coating works extremely well as a paint directly on metal surfaces and is able to withstand continuous temperatures up to 1200 degrees.

Is this material able to take heat from being used for coating the end of a headlight bulb in order to make it into a low beam bulb?

The exhaust pipes I used it on get very red when they are in a lot of use, so I assume it would do the same. Nevertheless, I am unsure as to how well it will bond to a glass bulb.

That is not the case

Not at all what I was expecting
3/5

I'm not sure if this product works on exhaust wrap, but I haven't tried it on new metal and can't comment. A pair of new block hugger headers and the exhaust pipes back to the mufflers that I glass beaded before painting received three coats of this product. The paint required two weeks to dry. During the first few seconds after starting the car, I filled my garage with toxic fumes, and the Thermo-Flame unit was buzzing nonstop There were blisters on the floor from Tec paint. It is NOT a product I recommend.
