Can you tell what the difference is between this AV7 and that ?

There is a T on the end of the part number, indicating that it is an economy version of the AV7 premium part. The two go together.

This seems to be Chrome, isn't it?

I am sure that this kit will fit my 2002 Corvette LS1

It is normal for emissions valves of this kind to have loose tolerances. A decade ago, I noticed that an installation of a brand new Delco valve was so sloppy that I couldn't even tell which direction the flow should go. My 2002 LS1 Corvette fits my 2002 LS1 cowl in just the right way. It won't leak and it seals as tight as a drum.

I didn't want to pay much for this exhaust check, but for an exact same component it cost half what I would have paid at my local parts store I installed the bracket quickly and easily and it seems to protect my new Smog Pump
