Both of them can be used interchangeably. They can be seen on my 2000 Chevy Silverado 5 at least. An 8-cylinder engine with a 3 liter displacement. These were two of the things I bought. There was only one "Old" one that had been damaged but I was told to replace them both at the same time with two So glad I bought them and now I don't have any more "Codes" on my truck.
In no way, full-size trucks are safe to drive

I got rid of my P1416 code on my 2000 Silverado with this fix. You might consider replacing it with the ones with tubes attached if you're in need of replacement. used heat to break these apart using a wrench and penetrating oil, and though I'm handy, I still had to use the appropriate wrenches. Attached to the exhaust pipe is a steel pipe on which the valve is mounted. It was impossible for them to escape. got the job done, but it may have been worth paying a few more dollars for a version with the pipe, especially if you do not want to use the blow torch next to your engine.
- ABOUT CHRIS.
A bit of struggle led me to replace both after I removed them. In the end, removing the assembly from the manifold and using a Vise made the job a lot would just suggest that you purchase new gaskets before you attempt this so that you can replace those that are toast by the time the assemblies are removed. The price doesn't put too much strain on your budget, so you shouldn't have trouble.
I needed a 3 liter pump that could be used on either the left or right side, and I had no problems. Despite this, as I said, it works as it should and I am at peace.
Neither the old fitting nor the new one threaded on to the pipe that the old one came off of. I am not sure if there was a manufacturing issue or corrosion. I returned it because it appeared to be fine and was correct otherwise.
Two of them were bought. Compared to the part I replaced on my 2001GMC Sierra truck, the price was very good and the part was similar. My air injection valves were replaced on both sides, the driver's and passenger's. It only took me about 30 minutes once I found the tools to do it. Fortunately, my truck is running well at the moment and my idiot lights have gone out.
I used this part on a 2000 Silverado 5 and it was an AC Delco part. The third level. Code P1415 (secondary air) has been fixed. Besides being a perfect fit, it also performs perfectly. If you replace your driver and passenger check valves at the same time, be sure to reset or erase your error code as well. Upon completion of 130 miles of driving, the truck had OBDII readiness.
They work great and are easy to install after you take the old ones off. The price (at least for me) is right in my price range. Moreover, my fault code, the check engine light, does not come back after I have cleared it. That was definitely worth the time and money, if you ask me!.
It had to do with initial warm up, and it is unclear what the code number was, but on the passenger side bank this valve was not working.
