Pump cycle for condensate has been fixed

It goes without saying, but I have a highly rated (here on Amazon) condensate pump, but I learned that the one way valve is simply not working. In my condensate pump, the condensate flows directly up 9 feet after the pump has shut off, and therefore, the water in the hose would drain back into the tank, which would The same thing keeps happening over and over. These one way valves seem to work perfectly. I tested them first in the sink and then on the pump. This is what I'm going to say now. Pumps that manage to survive condensate are dangerous because there is crap growing in the tanks. One can imagine that that stuff would clog one of the valves as well. When changing your heating/cooling filter, make sure to change them as well!.

When used on gas cans, they still need to be sealed up, even with smaller drill bits than 3/8. All of the devices worked correctly out of the box even though they were cheap and plastic. It remains to be seen how long they last. It's too soon to tell, but once they begin to give out for petroleum products I will update.
