Amazon deserves a pat on the back for their efforts. br>br>However, knowing full well that these would not be of aircraft industry quality (1000 pins for $15), I expected the pin sizes to correspond to the legend. The 1/8" x 1" x 1" x 1" x 1" The pins for 1/4" and 1/8" x 2" were both 3/32" in diameter, not 1/8"; The kit did not include any 1/8" pins. For general DIY tasks, 1/8" is a fairly common size. It was disappointing that there were no lengths when there should have been two (2). I'm not going to bother sending this one back (I've already organized them better), but this is the first time I've tried Performance Tool on the cheap and been so disappointed.
For the quantity of woodruff keys, this is a reasonable price. I can't tell if they aren't because they are smooth and close to spec. The case is made of semi-flexible plastic and will not shatter if dropped. I'm not sure how strong the shear is - I sincerely hope that I will never find out. I used mine on a Gravely power sweeper gear shaft and purchased the entire set because it was less expensive than purchasing a single key from a specialty store. We live in a strange world!.
I opened my package right away and counted each and every pin. The total number of pins in the kit is 600, plus or minus 5 on each side. It claims to be 1000 pieces, which is a complete fabrication.
The keys are in good working order. arranged in a see-through manner I have a different size in each compartment of the plastic box, as well as the size/part number for each compartment, so if I run out of one, I know what to order. The box organizes the keys well and appears to be sturdy enough for the task at hand. The keys themselves, or at least the ones I used, fit perfectly. The only reason for four stars rather than five is that the keys haven't been used long enough to determine their strength. Woodruff keys are supposed to be made to a specific strength/hardness, and I have no way of knowing if these are made to that strength unless I wait to see how long they last. However, it appears that the fit and finish are excellent.
On a transaxle, these were supposed to replace some missing woodruff keys. I only had metric from a HFT kit that was similar, and none of them fit. After doing some research, I discovered that I needed SAE keys instead, so I bought them. However, these are about 1/64" too wide, and I had to Dremel them down to make them fit.
Despite the fact that it was labeled as such, this set is not SAE. This set's keys are all Metric, and are either too tight or too loose for an SAE keyslot. br>br>I'm back. br>br>.
Product was delivered quickly, but the overall quality could have been better.
1- The index label on the inside of the box cover has no bearing on how the sizes are organized in the assortment box's compartments.
2- Some of the pins are undersized in terms of physical diameter. A 1/4" roll pin with a diameter of 250" was "un-" sprung" with vernier calipers, which would be a tight fit in a The hole is 250" in diameter.

The quality is excellent, and the delivery time is extremely short. A 5 star rating is well deserved. The sizes, on the other hand, are not mentioned in the description. I started with the picture and ended up with a 150-piece set of Hair Pins that are all too big for my needs. The sizes' measurements are as follows: 3/32 x 1- 3/16 in. 5/64 x 1- 5/16; 5/64 x 1- 9/16; 7/64 x 1- 5/8; 9/64 x 1- 3/4; 5/32 x 2- 15/16.
