We found out it was missing an o ring on the main housing, which is the last piece needed to reinstall it. I tracked it down over a period of several days. You should pay a little extra money or make sure to get that o ring before you take a look at.
The NBS turbo is missing some gaskets, which would make it better. A large portion of the gaskets in the kit are for the 99 and up They did not provide a gasket to cover the compressor housing, the center cartridge, or the plenum port, but it works perfectly in my 96. I drove it about 30 miles and at high rpms, and it does not leak away.
I was pleasantly surprised by how well this worked.
The stepped seal is not present as in the Furthermore, the large intake oring on the large inlet isn't correct, and bolts It all works, though, and the most important stuff is there.
The compressor housing has the big o ring. There is an alloy of brass in the thrust washer. Steps are not present in the sealing rings. This is a product I would buy GTP38 turbo - a powerful engine.
