This actuator will work just fine if the device you are using is an OM642.
My vin is not on the part, but the part is correct for a 07 Sprinter
You do not need to program the actuator just make sure that the code is compatible with your existing one. The grade would either be G- or F The following statements are the result of the exam, Two 19s and a G The numbers 227 and 228 etc.
I installed it and, frankly, it did not last for 3 or 4 months, so I had to replace it. Sprinter Crew Van 2500 2011 is the van I have.

For the 2008 GL320, this is the perfect fit. As this is my second purchase from eBay, it is unlikely to be the same one as my previous purchase It failed at 18 months, so it was replaced with an OEM part. There's a good chance that one will last a very long time. Shawn a manufacturer from the OEM does not sell these OEMs. According to Garrett, these are mated to the turbo, but this is unlikely considering how well the turbo presently works.
It's been installed since I bought it. I turned the key on and it was immediately initialized. It's been working well for a long time. The error of overboost has gone away.
This is what you should get My 2007 Sprinter van was serviced while I was there. My under boost code that I was having issues with is now fixed. The installation took 30 minutes for me.
Why do I have to say this? was the machine I wanted and it was installed. I was able to fix part of my 2011 Sprinter's issue with it.
This is something I have been waiting to install for about a year As a result it is too late to send it back, but hopefully I can spare someone else the pain. A different one might be better.
It lives up to its advertising. The codes for over boost and under boost of the turbo are eliminated after installation. It seems to be a sign of good things to come.
At first I had thought I would need to purchase a whole new turbo since they do not sell a factory replacement wastegate separately. It looked like I was in luck and I clicked on it. For a month, it worked perfectly. You can try it out for a month for free. As soon as the module lost communication with the EC, all communication with it stopped. There may just be a poor part of the process. The item is in my possession now, but I can't return it.
This worked perfectly
There was no reason to spend $4000 at the dealer for the entire turbo unit when the actuator was the only issue.
