Questions & Answers

The old pedestal I found had a sensor on it. If I unplug it, it will turn on an OBD trouble code, right?

Would you mind telling me what it's for? The pedestal has a plug on the back, so I'll screw the oil temp gauge in there after I find it-- is that what I do? You may also want to look We also have a rebuild kit for the Turbo Cooper oiler which isn't steel but aluminum! If you look on it, you will see my comments about it! If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact me!

There is no way to fix this pedestal using the bolts it came with. Is there a difference between the bolt lengths or do I need to space them out?

This was not an issue for me.

Would it be possible for this pedestal to come with 1/8-inch threads Do we need to plug in 27?

With the pedestal, the plug is installed already.

There is a noticeable difference between this pedestal and the one that came off of my 2001 F350. Is there anything I need to ?

The pipe adjustment is all that needs to be done, but should be okay

The 2000 F250 7 is compatible with the vehicle
5/5

There are 3 stock turbos. The late 2000 7 fits this model. Those with the GT38 turbo fit very well with the exhaust pipes and intake pipes. During installation of the turbo, one oring was damaged, so the replacement oring was needed on hand. It is advisable to keep spare replacement o rings on hand during installation, since it is easy to damage the o rings. If the o rings leak, that is the likely cause. This strong large turbo being placed in a small space and its telescopic arms all the way out seems strange. I verified the height of the new one with the original ebpv before installation. By removing the butterfly and pressing a freeze plug into the hole where the operating rod used to be, I deleted the ebpv.

The quality and fit of the product are excellent
5/5

As a result of leaking and unnecessary parts, my EBPV was removed. The replacement part was a direct bolt-on. We highly recommend getting rid of your 7 if you intend to delete it.

It runs on the 2000 Ford F250
5/5

As a whole, it does its job. I used this as a companion to an out-of-market purchase I'm working on the ebv exhaust outlet and everything seems to be working well. I'm very happy with the result.

While this pedestal is very good quality and for a 99, it was manufactured after the We had to return this pedestal since it was for a 99 manufactured after 12/8/98, and it wasn't for a 99 manufactured after 12/8/98

If you remove the pedestal, future leaks from the turbo will be prevented
5/5

I installed this Garrett out of the box after replacing the o rings on my 7 and installed the Garrett in the box. The transmission in the 2000 Ford F 250 diesel is a 3 - 6 speed. I'm very happy with my truck, and it is running smoothly and there are.

Compared to stock pedestal, this one is taller
3/5

I ordered this part but it was about an inch taller than the stock one so the stock exhaust pipes could not line up with the stock turbo ports so I had to return the product. However, the non-ebp exhaust port for the turbo worked great and installed without any issues.
