far, I have used this kit and a riffraff billet wheel to rebuild the turbo. Prior to installing the kit, I used the plastic tray the parts came in to lube them. To remove the old one, you need to pull up As you should know, you first need to replace the ring/seals and bolts on the turbo. I like that this kit has 12 bolts to rebuild the Unlike most kits, this kit does not include instruction cards. In terms of performance, this kit has been excellent so far. In case I have any updates, I will let you know when the truck is.
My husband and I installed this kit two weeks ago we have good mechanical skills, but we have never rebuilt a turbo before. After my turbo needed rebuilding, I was happy to find that it used 210K miles on the factory. I watched the video as well before attempting the work. Thank you so much for the excellent.
I was very pleased with the kit. Everything is in specification and as advertised, so I give it five In this case, you will need to order one separately if you prefer the stepped gap turbine seal. It isn't part of this kit but I wouldn't mind paying a little bit more for it. In the event that this kit were to include a stepped gap turbine seal, the price would be a six- per week kit It has been rated as a star.
It did the job and saved me from large repair costs later. The only negative was that there were no paper instructions, only a website to go to, but that was not an issue for me.
In my 1995 Ford F350, I rebuilt my Garret TP38. All the parts needed to rebuild the unit were provided, as well as some additional. The link to the instructions on the website was unclear, but the product is sold with instructions. Completing this task will not be difficult at all. It is a product I would like to purchase.
Upon receiving the package, I realized that all the seals I needed to rebuild my turbo were included. It was easy to use and there were no problems. Those who are frustrated with their turbo would benefit from this. A 360-degree thrust washer was definitely a better alternative to the stock washer.
