Questions & Answers

How can I determine if this will fit a 2006 Wrx ?

In short, yes. First, connect the Y pipe to the turbo and clamp it down before connecting it to the throttle body, and then relocate the mounting bracket for the tmic.

What is the fitment for a 2005 Forester XT?

The answer is yes, in my opinion. While you have 2 of the options, the first is more convenient. There is still hope that it will work when it is 5L. to the website of Mishimoto and check out

Do you have a Wrx wagon that this would fit?

Yeah, I wanted to bring a 2002 bugeye wrx coupe with the same engine as a wrx wagon home.

What happens if you use it?

Yes, I agree! Due to the fact that it is more insulated and of much higher quality than OEM TMIC hoses, it is able to move cooler air.

I have a problem with too long hoses
3/5

The update follows In response to my review, I received a response from Mishimoto saying that it was the first time they had heard about the hoses being too long and they were "shocked". The total and complete opposite of truth. If you read other reviews, you will see people complaining about the hoses being too long, and Mishimoto responding that they had never heard of such a problem. Despite the established problem with these hoses, this issue hasn't been completely addressed. During the time I thought my review would be updated, I contacted Mishimoto to tell them about the error. It appears that they ignored the fact that the issue had been acknowledged and only offered to send me replacement hose clamps (which I had replaced with much The last time I made a purchase from Mishimoto was years ago. I wouldn't recommend any more purchases from them. They make me feel embarrassed to even own a car with them. **** - The original review can be found below - **** - It's impossible to use a pipe with hose ends that are too long. There are notches on both the intercooler and the turbo. I trimmed them out which helped a lot. The picture shows an example. **** - There is no round hose clamp included with the kit - the included hose clamps are trash The picture shows an example. A few touches were all it took for it to break The picture shows an example. There is no way to clamp the Bypass Valve Hose. I was able to get silicone-coated pipes because I had a lot of money My house is walking distance from hose clamps that are friendly. Separate hose clamps will need to be purchased (which you will need to do. 1) Do not use standard worm gear It will eat away at your silicone hose because the holes will dig in. Their T-scores need to be in the mid to high range These come in three forms bolt clamps, lined worm gears, or embossed worm gears (without **** - The hoses once they have been worked out seem to be nice and will last for a long time. What a great looking pair! In the case of my 2005 Saab 9- engine, I'm using the stock intercooler. A 2x (same as a Subaru WRX for those of you who are unfamiliar). In general, I bought it in order to make installing the intercooler a little easier.

The quality of the product is good
4/5

Would be nice if you gave me some information about It's a great product, but it would be better if there were more details about This kit was obtained to replace some worn hoses and round out previous blue mishimoto hoses that were installed and performed exceptionally well over time. Unfortunately, some of the hoses did not fit my application. I returned the kit. Although I have not checked or reviewed the hose clamps for sizing or quality, other reviewers have contended that the clamps are small and not well made. Fortunately, I did a few measurements before returning the product in the hopes that it could assist future consumers before making the This is the connector that connects the throttle body to the IC Two and a half inches in diameter by two and a half inches long. The connector it was replacing was a 2 3/4" by 3" L

BOV to Turbo Inlet connect Side of the BOV measures 1 1/4 inch in diameter. A turbo's inlet side is one inch in diameter. In total, the piece measures between 12 and 13 inches long.

While I believe the IDs on both sides are correct, the overall length should be a bit longer. The pipe is equipped with IC connectors (2) with a A turbo pump with an ID of 1 3/4". I did not measure the overall length, but I think it would have been sufficient. I found the 1 3/4" ID to be too small for my application due to the larger turbo.

A clamp that is included in the package is too small, it crushes the hose, and it am troubled by the fact that this tax is being passed on to taxpayers It is not possible to use the clamps that come with the bike to hold In its fully opened position the clamp pinches the hose (the lock nut is not engaged)
3/5

Over a BPV fitting, you will never get this. While I source a proper clamp I had to use the stock clamp. The sizes of t-nuts vary depending on the type of clamp. There are four types of clamp provided in the kit 3* (3) 55- For the outlet and inlet of the turbo, use 62 mm. There are two inlets(2) Too small for the BPV hose (tainted with debris! Hose is 81mm in diameter for the throttle body.

It is Mishimoto who makes the magic happen
5/5

Quality is excellent, and the fit is perfect for the turbo EJ20 from 2005. Despite their age, the OEM hoses were bent, brittle, and bulging (except for It would have been awesome to use those cool Mishimoto clamps on the long hose, but they were simply too wide for it. You can fix the loose hose even if it's just one The hose clamps were not the reason I bought it It was just a bonus (not knocking a star off for it). It was just a matter of reusing the clamps on that In the attached pictures you can see the hoses from the Intercooler as well as those from the.

If you try to bend the clamps back to round, they easily break and don't fit correctly
3/5

In order to install something worth $100+, you would think you wouldn't need a lot of additional work, but I'm 0 for 2 so far with products from Mishimoto. In other words, they had these words to say

1 Trying to bend a BOV hose clamp back to its original shape often causes the metal to break. Here are two examples The pipe does not fit and had to be trimmed to get it to It took two of us an hour instead of just 30 minutes to do a 30 minute job because of these two things, and because we had to run for extra pieces that were advertised to be included and go back and forth to make the Y fit The brand and price of the pipe led me to expect a better product.
