This was used to connect alum tubes together. It's less expensive than purchasing a pair of 2 inch shoes. Hose is well made. It is very easy to cut.

silicone material is quite nice

I made the wrong choice, it's not what I was looking for, it's too flimsy for my powerstroke intake, and it collapses under turbo intake suction. It's a nice silicone material, but it's the wrong application.
